The Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation (PAEDC) has a tuition fund available for five (5) graduating high school seniors who plan to attend Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA). Applicants must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale and want to pursue an associate degree in the following programs through LSCPA:
- Drafting
- Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning
- Instrumentation Technology
- Medical Coding Specialist
- Medical Office Administration
- Process Technology
- Surgical Technology
- Nursing
